We’re glad you stopped by the HerWay blog to learn a little bit more about the site, so first off — Welcome! We’re so excited to share our vision of online dating with you and hope you see the undeniable benefits of dating, Her Way.
The creators of HerWay have been watching the online dating industry for years, back when the prospect of finding a date online was still fairly daunting… and although the industry has absolutely changed for the better since its inception, we still see the same thing on every site: women are vulnerable, hassled, and barraged by cookie-cutter messages from guys who may or may not have sent the same thing to dozens of women.
Secondly, we discovered that face-to-face encounters are 5 times more likely when women take the lead! We concluded that when women trust their instincts and approach a guy who piques their interest, they feel less vulnerable and are more open to meeting in person. Compare this to when a woman is aggressively contacted by online suitors (stalkers)… the chances of them meeting offline? Pretty slim.
With this knowledge we began the first stages of HerWay.com, a site that would protect the privacy of women, allow them to search for potential dates without being hassled, and substantially increase the chance that a great connection could be made! Plus — the guys at HerWay aren’t like those on other sites: they have distinct personalities, self-confidence, and a desire to learn what women really want in a guy.
